Repairs on Glenwood Bridge set to begin, closures to impact north, southbound travelers

PITTSBURGH —

The Glenwood Bridge will be temporarily closed beginning on Sunday for crews to make concrete repairs as part of the ongoing $4.4 million preservation project.

The Department of Public Works announced in a statement the bridge will be closed to southbound traffic from 6 p.m. Sunday evening through 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18.
