PITTSBURGH — A day after shutting down the Charles Anderson Memorial Bridge to vehicle traffic because of safety concerns, Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey denied Thursday that his administration delayed $6 million in funding that had been earmarked for the troubled bridge this year.
