ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. -PennDOT says it has completed 53 projects totaling $441 million, including paving and maintaining over 700 miles of roads in the Pittsburgh area.

"We've reconstructed the entire roadway, all the paving is finished, and that job stretches from this interchange here at Route 60 up to the Neville Island Bridge," said Douglas Thompson, PennDOT assistant district executive of construction. "The second project here also, this one stretches from the Route 60 interchange south to the Parkway West."
